Helen Alford, OP
Pontifical University of St Thomas (“Angelicum”) and The Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences
Helen Alford is Professor and former Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Pontifical University of St Thomas (often called the “Angelicum”) in Rome. She also serves a Pesident of The Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences. Helen Alford originally trained as a manufacturing engineer at Cambridge University, UK, and her PhD thesis concerned “human-centred technology” and its potential for the “humanisation of work” in manufacturing. At present, she is director of the international research project “Ethics and CSR” which involves universities and businesses in the US, EU, post-communist and economically-developing worlds. She is the author with Michael Naughton of Managing As If Faith Mattered: Christian Social Principles in the Modern Organization (Notre Dame, University of Notre Dame Press, 2001).
Henri-Claude de Bettignies

Henri-Claude de Bettignies is Emeritus Professor of Asian Business and Comparative Management at INSEAD. He is also Distinguished Professor of Global Responsible Leadership at the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), in Shanghai. Between 1988 and 2005, he held a joint appointment at Stanford University. He was educated at the Sorbonne, Catholic University of Paris, and Harvard Business School. He has worked in Africa, at the University of California, in New York (for IBM), and Tokyo. Henri-Claude teaches MBAs and executives, in the areas of ethics and CSR, HR management and corporate transformation, culture and management. He directs a number of executive programmes in Europe and in Asia.

Madhumita Chatterji is Professor at ABBS-Acharya Bangalore Business School, India. Formerly she was Professor and Director at the IFIM Business School, Bangalore, and Chairperson of Centre for Social Entrepreneurship and Management and Centre for Excellence and Personality Development at IFIM. She obtained her doctorate from Jadavpur University and underwent a program in history, politics, and society from the University of Oxford, UK. Dr Chatterji has over 20 years of experience in teaching and research. Her current interests are in the areas of organizational behavior, ethics, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, cross cultural management, and business history. She has authored the book “The Ksatriyas in Ancient India” (Munshiram Manoharlal, New Delhi). Her latest book on Corporate Social Responsibility has been published by Oxford University Press India.

Thomas Dienberg is Professor for Theology of Spirituality at Philosophisch-Theologische Hochschule (PTH) Münster. He was President of PTH from 2002 to 2014. He is member of the Capuchin order. He has Doctorate in Theology of Spirituality (studied in Muenster, Nijmegen, Wien and St. Bonaventure/New York) and Master of Organizational Management (Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum). His main subjects include asceticism, mysticism, Franciscan spirituality, spirituality and literature, and spirituality and management.

David W. Miller

David W. Miller is Director of the Princeton University Faith & Work Initiative, Professional Specialist, and Lecturer. He also serves as President of The Avodah Institute. David joined the faculty of Princeton University in 2008. His previous appointment was at Yale University, where for five years he served as the Executive Director, Yale Center for Faith & Culture, and taught at both the Divinity School and School of Management. David brings an unusual “bilingual” perspective to the boardroom and the classroom. Before receiving his Ph.D. in ethics, he spent 16 years in senior executive positions in international business and finance, including eight years in London. Kamran Mofid is Founder of the Globalisation for the Common Good Initiative (GCGI- founded at an international conference in Oxford in 2002), Co- founder/Editor, GCGI Journal, which is hosted at Wilmington College, Ohio, USA, and a Patron of the Human Values Foundation. Mofid received his BA and MA in economics from the University of Windsor, Canada in 1980 and 1982 respectively. In 1986 he was awarded his doctorate in economics from the University of Birmingham, UK. In 2001 he received a Certificate in Education in Pastoral Studies at Plater College, Oxford.

Peter Róna is Senior Fellow at Blackfriars Hall, University of Oxford. He was born in Hungary, moved to America in 1956, and obtained an Honours degree from the University of Pennsylvania berfore further studies with a First Class Honours degree at University College, Oxford. After a distinguished career in America, where he became the President of Schroders, he returned to Hungary and served as the CEO of the First Hungary Fund, from which he retired in 2003. Between 2003 and 2010 he taught at Eotvos Lorand University in Budapest.

Paul Shrivastava is Professor of Management at Penn State University and Co-President of The Club of Rome. He was Executive Director of Future Earth, a global research program on sustainability. He was Director of the David O’Brien Centre for Sustainable Enterprise at Concordia University, Montreal. Dr. Shrivastava founded several private companies, non-profit organizations, and the ONE Division of the Academy of Management. He received his Ph. D. from the University of Pittsburgh. He was tenured Associate Professor of Management at the Stern School of Business, NYU, and held the Howard I. Scott Chair in Management at Bucknell University.

Antoon Vandevelde is Professor Emeritus at the Center for Economics and Ethics, Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. He has studied economics and philosophy. He graduated in 1986 with a PhD on Exchange and Recognition. He has been the Dean of the Institute of Philosophy of Catholic University of Leuven between 2006 and 2013. Formerly he has been teaching for a long time at the universities of Antwerp and Rotterdam. He has published many articles, mainly in the field of economic ethics and political philosophy, for instance about philosophy of social security, ethics of migration policy, responsibility for future generations, altruism and the logic of the gift, liberalism and communitarianism.

Stefano Zamagni is a retired Professor of Economics at the University of Bologna where he continues to teach as adjunct professor. He is a Fellow of the Human Development and Capability Association (HDCA) and a member of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences. Stefano Zamagni graduated from Catholic University in Milan in 1966. He studied as post-graduate student at the University of Oxford from 1969 to 1973. From 1973 to 1979, he was a professor at the University of Parma. Since 1979, he has been working at the University of Bologna. He is a member of the board of LUMSA University in Rome.
