David W. Miller is Director of the Princeton University Faith & Work Initiative, Professional Specialist, and Lecturer. He also serves as President of The Avodah Institute. David joined the faculty of Princeton University in 2008. His previous appointment was at Yale University, where for five years he served as the Executive Director, Yale Center for Faith & Culture, and taught at both the Divinity School and School of Management. David brings an unusual “bilingual” perspective to the boardroom and the classroom. Before receiving his Ph.D. in ethics, he spent 16 years in senior executive positions in international business and finance, including eight years in London. He is the author of the critically acclaimed and best-selling book, God at Work: The History and Promise of the Faith at Work Movement (Oxford University Press). Alongside his work at Princeton, David serves as an advisor to CEOs and senior executives in matters pertaining to ethics, values, leadership, and faith at work.
